Any Tips For Going To An Indians Game?

Filed in Category Beer Games

My buddies and I are going to a Cleveland Indians game this spring. We’ve never been there and are looking for some good tips. Any places NOT to sit? Is there a good place close by that is fun to have some beers at after the game? Any regional foods that we should give a try? Bargains at or around the stadium? Must-do activity? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

On my trip to the Jake last year, we did learn a few things about it. Here is a map:http://cleveland.indians.mlb.com/cle/bal…
Zoom in to the exact center (there is an icon to the left). I recommend to NOT sit in the sections 250-267. We sat there, and although the view isn’t bad, it was noisy from the air vents above (you are literally right below them).
We ended up moving down to the dark bluish lower deck……it was a pleasant time.
It really is a great park, I just don’t recommend getting seats from 250-267, but I imagine most places are what you would expect.
For beers after the game, just outside the stadium there are a couple of bars….not sure exactly where, but if you walk around towards the downtown area, you should see a couple.
This is a restaurant we went to in Cleveland………was absolutely delicious. It’s about 25 minutes outside the downtown area. Here is the website……http://www.gomongo.com/
Have fun! I really recommend the Mongolian BBQ!
