No…Societal laws and rules were established from moral values which I believe, are to a certain extent instinctive.
Homosapiens are different from animals. We can reason, We have theory of mind…hence the reason why we have the intelligence to make necessary laws and rules…..

Not sure how this is R&S but the items mentioned do differentiate us from animals.
We also do others things though such as prepare our food, build structures, agriculture, form governments etc.
So we are quite different to animals.

Probably, but there will always be someone strong enough to take control and establish rules. May not last long, but still..
