This topic is really one that I love to talk about. The ten commandments are all laws that America accepted. So I find it really ironic that there are those who love to accept the great things of America but then mock the Bible. I mean look at your money people, In God we Trust. Without Americas freedom you definitely wouldn’t be on this website talking about your faith or lack of.
So for our Atheists here, you better not be spending American Dollars or saving them or such because hey right there under your nose is the name of God. And every time you spend one aren’t you really saying in God we Trust?
Might want to get rid of all that money maybe donate it to a Christian organization to use in Gods name so it doesn’t go against what you believe. Sorry it really is ironic to me, this country was founded on the principles of religion. There are plenty of countries out there that don’t allow religion, you might be happier there?
Of course you could just accept facts. God is bigger than you, he is stronger than you, and when you mock him to many times he may decide to grow tired of waiting for you to wake up and harden your heart. But the truth is in the end you will bow down to him.

You have to specify which god before we can truly answer this question. The laws of Ahura Mazda are very fair and acceptable, however this Bible god is bulls**t and I will not stone anyone regardless of their actions. As we learn about ourselves as individuals and as societies and cultures our “undesirable” behaviors are found to have biological, nurturing, and other external causes and this stupid idea of a god that’s described in the Bible has some screwed up ideas of laws. And never, ever bless me in it’s name again.

The laws of America have been modeled after the judicial laws that make up The Laws of Moses or The Mosaic Laws that the God Yahweh gave to Moses and the original group of Israelites. Those of America who can’t see that America’s laws and Yahweh’s laws are one in the same are idiots.

Easy… BOTH were written by man…
Man’s laws… As in the penal code… were written by men that wanted law and order…
God’s laws… as in Christianity and Islam… were written by men that wanted to control, dominate, steal, and commit atrocities under the guise of a godly crusade!
Both were written by man… So now we just need to drop the paranormal nonsense of the concept of “God” and we can get down to helping the people.
