No, they are not stupid. I do agree with them. Muslims do not try to push their religion on others. It sounds like you are a bigot, judgmental, and not very informed.
The suicide attacks are from fundamentalist, not typical Muslims. Since you had to ask, it shows that you are not informed.

While Buddhism and Eastern religions in general are non-proselytizing by nature, Christianity and Islam are both very obsessed with spreading and converting heathens and infidels.
I don’t believe in either but to Christianity’s credit, Jesus never took up the sword and commanded his followers to start killing those who refused to convert (self-serving rulers did that for him) while Islam was converting by the sword from day one. Both religions conquered vast areas and killed vast numbers of non-believers.

about wanting their own law …if you have any knowledge of islam whatsoever you will know that actually sharia law is far more strict than your laws,,so for them to live under sharia law is no picnic
and many crimes were commited in the name of holy books ALL of them .

In the country I live in they comprise only 1 or 2 percent of the population so, yeah, they don’t really have the power to push anything (and with the exception of one girl on an airplane coming back from Hajj, they never really proselytize, in my experience). Sure, they can be vocal in their agreement when the current administration does things like promoting abstinence only sex education – but that’s not the same as pushing for laws (because for all I know, there’s an even greater number who disagree but know their voice means nothing against this administration).
