Is This Some Sort Of Guy Code?

ok so i think i might like one of my brothers friends
we have track together so we practice together (about 20 of us on this team) and is it some sort of guy code that you cant date your friends sister? cause i see him looking at me a lot but whenever i try to talk to him he makes little eye contact but he acts like he wants to talk to me
so what could this mean?

      It’s a guaranteed *** kicking.
      Messing with a guy’s sister is almost as bad as spitting in his face. We haven’t really revised the rules in a good 50 years so eh.

      The code is guys before chicks (the other term is derogatory). He might feel he is betraying his friend and that it may hurt his friendship if he dates you and it ends.
